
ROLAND C. "PETE" FRAME
Mr. Roland C. "Pete" Frame, 92, of Sunset Home, formerly of 4806 Elm St., died at 3:38 p.m. Thursday (March 24, 2005) in the home.
Born August 11, 1912 in Clayton, IL., Pete was the son of Louis and Clara Jud Frame. He married R. Maxine McFarland on October 9, 1943 in Langley Field, VA. She survives.
Mr. Frame was a member of New Beginnings Evangelical Free Church, Quincy Masonic Lodge #296 and the United Commercial Travelers. He was a graduate of Clayton High School and his favorite past time was fishing. Pete served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1942 until 1947. He was a wonderful father and grandfather who was devoted to his family and will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
Mr. Frame was employed at D.H. Rouse Company for several years and then at Huck Fixtures for several years until his retirement in 1987.
Also surviving is a daughter, Penny Powell and her husband Gary of Mesa, AZ.; a son, Louis Frame and his wife Sharon of Quincy; ten grandchildren, Courtney Frame of Bloomington, IL., Carissa Frame, Devin Frame, Dustin Frame and Brittany Frame, all of Quincy, Derek McConnell, Janine McConnell and Jason McConnell and is wife Sonya, all of Mesa, AZ., Heather Bastin and her husband Don and Joshua Powell, all of Indianapolis, IN.; and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Ruth Sullivan and Ruby Babb.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 at the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home bey Rev. Tom Henderson. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held Monday afternoon from 12:30 until the time of services at the funeral home.
