
RUTH ANN LEPPER
Mrs. Ruth Ann Lepper, 69, of 935 1/2 North 4th, died at 10:50 p.m. Thursday (August 23, 2007) in her home.
Born July 14, 1938 in Quincy, Ruth was the daughter of John William and Martha McNeil Anders. She married Virgil Lepper in 1959 in Quincy. He preceded her in death on November 22, 2004.
Ruth attended services at the Salvation Army. She enjoyed playing Bingo, cooking, going on family picnics and was an avid Cubs fan. She cherished the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and sisters.
Ruth was employed at Davis-Cleaver for 18 years until their closing. She later was employed at the Days Inn, Diamond Motel and I.S.S. for several years until her retirement.
Survivors include a son, Tim Lepper and his wife Tammy of Quincy; three daughters, Patsy Kadow and her husband Dennis, Nancy Marshall and her husband Mike and Debbie Goodwin and her husband Robert all of Quincy; nine grandchildren; twelve step grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Bevans and Norma Cowan both of Quincy; a brother, Charles E. Anders and his wife Lauretta of Rensselaer, IN.; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lepper was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary Frances Anders; a brother in infancy; a brother in law, Thomas Cowan; and a nephew, Junior Cowan.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 in the Quincy Salvation Army Chapel by Major Alan Wurtz. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Monday afternoon from 12:30 until the time of services at the Salvation Army Chapel.
The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
