SADIE M. WHITE

Mrs. Sadie M. White, 80, of 828 Payson Ave., died at 9:15 p.m. Sunday (September 18, 2005) in Blessing Hospital.

Born April 27, 1925 in Hardin, Illinois, Sadie was the daughter of Albert Lee and Leona Pelican Sutton.

Sadie attended Faith Assembly Church and was a former member of the Ladies of the Moose. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking, sewing and crocheting. She especially enjoyed making quilts for her grandchildren.

Sadie was employed as a waitress for over 40 years at various restaurants in the Quincy area.

Surviving is a daughter, Donnasusann Camden and her husband Larry of Quincy; three sons, LeRoy W. Bainter and his wife Sharon of Ewing, MO., Russell R. White of Quincy; and Robert N. White and his wife Lorie L. of Ewing, MO.; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one brother, Ira "Bud" Sutton of Barry, IL.; four sisters, Alice Bradshaw and her husband Vanice of Barry, Maxine Schnepf of Pittsfield, Bonnie Newell and her husband Dana of Blue Springs, MO., and Donna Robison and her husband Willoby of Grand Prairie, TX.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Sharon Bainter Richmiller; one brother, John Nathan Sutton; and one son in law, Edward R. Powell.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Rev. Lee Amsler. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 at the funeral home.
