SHARON T. ARP

Mrs. Sharon T. Arp, 61, of Quincy, passed away at 9:45 p.m. Monday (April 25, 2005) in Blessing Hospital C. V. U.

Born June 2, 1943 in Keokuk, Iowa, Sharon was the daughter of Ed and Mary Cochran Carel. She married David L. Arp on July 11, 1964 in Quincy.

Sharon was employed for 29 years with the Quincy Public Schools as a bus driver and custodian at Madison School until her retirement.

Sharon enjoyed life to the fullest and loved spending time with family and friends. Her greatest joy came in taking her grandson fishing and she took pride in watching him wrestle.

Survivors include a daughter, Michelle Walker and her husband Deon of Keokuk, IA..; a special grandson, David Walker of Keokuk, IA.; her mother, Mary Carel of Hamilton, IL.; a brother, Ed Carel and his wife Verna of Gainesville, TX.; a sister, Connie Clark and her husband Curtis of Keokuk, IA.; several nieces and nephews; and an amazing friend, Margie Wright of Quincy.

Mrs. Arp was preceded in death by her father; and a granddaughter, LaChelle Arp.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Pastor Tom Waters. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Friday until the time of services at the funeral home.
