SHEILA BENJAMIN WHITE

Mrs. Sheila Rae White, 35, of Payson, died at 1:40 p.m. Friday (August 5, 2005) in her home.

Born June 8, 1970 in Quincy, Sheila was the daughter of Donald L. and Catherine A. "Kitty" Giers Benjamin. She married F. Jack White Jr. on December 30, 1988 in Hannibal, Missouri. He survives.

Sheila was a member of the Payson JayCees and was active with the Payson Old Settler's Association. She loved life and enjoyed coaching summer softball and spending time with her friends, but she devoted her life to her husband and children.

Sheila had been a waitress at the Adams Trading Post, Diamond Dave's and the Green Parrot Lounge when it was operated by her grandparents. For the past five years, she was a Workmans Comp Claim Specialist for the Corporate Offices of Niemann Foods, taking leave in November 1994 due to ill health.

Survivors include her husband, Jack; two children, Alexander White and Sarah White both of Payson; her father and step mother, Don and Janet Benjamin of Payson; two sisters, Leslie Bentley and her husband Tom of Quincy and Breanna Carver of Hannibal, MO.; her father in law, F. Jack White Sr. of Billings, MT.; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and two very special friends, Yvette Murphy and Tina Phillips.

Sheila was preceded in death by her mother; her paternal grandparents, Tony and Dorothy Benjamin; her maternal grandparents, Ted Giers and Opal Roberts; and her mother in law, Carolyn White.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Quincy by Tom Benjamin. Burial will be in the Payson New Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 4:00 to 8:00 and Tuesday until the time of services at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Payson New Cemetery Association or her children's educational fund.
