STEVE "FISH" FISHER

Mr. Stephen D. "Fish" Fisher, 35, of 3613 Biscayne, died at 7:25 p.m. Sunday (March 16, 2008) in Sycamore Health Care Center in Quincy.

Born July 25, 1972 in Hannibal, Missouri, Stephen was the son of James W. and Kathleen Schultz Fisher.

A graduate of Hamilton High School, Stephen was employed as an over the road truck driver until his retirement due to his health.

Stephen loved his family and enjoyed having a good time with his friends.

Survivors include his parents, Jim & Kathleen Fisher of Quincy; a sister, Sandra Burgess and her husband Kevin of Quincy; two brothers, James R. Fisher and Jeffery K. Fisher and his wife Becky both of Columbia, MO.; four nieces, Teresa Fisher, Morgan Fisher, Katyln Fisher and Shannon Fisher; four nephews, Brandon Fisher, Kale Fisher, Erik Burgess and Mikal Burgess; two great nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Stephen was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Henry & Rubyjo Schultz; his paternal grandparents; Clyde & Pauline Dick; and an uncle, Chris Schultz.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Steve Bridwell. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hannibal.

Visitation will be Wednesday afternoon from 12:00 until the time of services at the funeral home.
