
THELMA L. WARNER
Mrs. Thelma L. Warner, 76, formerly of Sunset Home, died at 11:35 p.m. Friday (December 22, 2006) in the home of her son at 1720 Hamann Lane in Quincy.
Born January 30, 1930 in Mexico, Missouri, Thelma was the daughter of John and Pansy Pope Stewart. She married Elmore R. Warner on January 5, 1957 in Quincy. He died May 21, 1977.
Thelma enjoyed embroidery and word search puzzles. She loved to spend time with her family and follow the activities of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially watching them race.
Thelma was employed as a Nurses Aid at Sunset Home for many years until her retirement.
Survivors include a daughter, Trudy Baze and her husband John of Plainville, IL.; a son, Tony Warner and his wife Karen of Quincy; five grandchildren, Stephanie Dittmer and her husband Brian, Laura Dieker and her husband Eddie, Jaime Nosbisch and her husband Justin, Nicole "Nikki" Klauser and her husband Josh and Robert "Robby" Warner; three step grandchildren, Brenda Rolff, Tommy Sterlin and Raymond Sterlin; four great grandchildren, Levi Dittmer, Neal Dittmer, Bryan Dieker and Wyatt Klauser; two step great grandchildren, Terry Joe Rolff and James Sterlin; a sister, Mary Truitt of Quincy; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Warner was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Raymond Warner; a step daughter, Sharon Large; a sister, Clara Rogers; and seven brothers, Albert, Frank, Andrew, Harold, Clarence, Gene and Roy Stewart.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. George Tomko. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Wednesday until the time of services at the funeral home.
