
VICKI LYNN TURNBAUGH
Mrs. Vicki Lynn Turnbaugh, 63, of Quincy, died at 1:43 a.m. Wednesday (October 31, 2007) in Blessing Hospital.
Born October 3, 1944 in Quincy, Vicki was the daughter of Jason Thomas and Caroline Wilma Pfaffe Stice. She married Roy Turnbaugh on March 18, 1962 in Quincy. He survives.
Vicki attended Quincy Public Schools and had been active with the cub scouts as a scout leader and the PTA where she received a lifetime membership. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting and feeding and watching humming birds.
Vicki was employed at several Quincy restaurants before working in the laundry at St. Vincent's Home for 10 years. She retired in 2002 due to ill health.
Survivors include her husband, Roy; three wonderful sons, Steve Turnbaugh and his wife Jill and Greg Turnbaugh and his wife Renee both of Quincy and Tony Turnbaugh and his wife Brenda of Fowler; three grandchildren, Stephanie Turnbaugh, Tyler Turnbaugh and Paris Turnbaugh all of Quincy; a step son, Roger Turnbaugh and his wife Linda of Griggsville, IL.; two step grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; four brothers, Roger Stice and his wife Mary Lou , Michael Stice, John Stice and his wife Ellen, and Jason Stice and his wife Vickie all of Quincy; a sister, Alice "Kate" Langley and her husband Ron of Quincy; and several very loving nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Turnbaugh was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; a sister, Judith Heck; and seven nephews, Ron Sweet, Christopher Eickor, Tony Stice, Luke Stice, Tommy Stice, Mark Stice and Gerald Green.
Graveside services will be held Friday morning at 10:30 in Greenmount Cemetery by the Rev. George Tomko.
There will be no visitation, but friends are invited to the services. The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
