VIOLA O. NIXON

Mrs. Viola O. Nixon, 90, of the Good Samaritan Home, died at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday (August 21, 2007) in the home.

Born May 9, 1917 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Viola was the daughter of Clarence and Nellie Jackson Kirkpatrick.

Viola was employed for 27 years as a production assembler for Harris Corporation until her retirement.

Surviving is a daughter, Sandra Baumbach and her husband Frederick of Quincy; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Nixon was preceded in death by a son, Donald D. Nixon; and a brother, Walter Kirkpatrick.

Graveside services will be held Friday morning at 9:30 in Woodland Cemetery by the Rev. Marlin Rempfer.

Visitation will be Friday morning from 8:30 until 9:15 at the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
