VIVIAN MEYERS
Vivian Meyers, 82, of 527 Broadway, died at 1:13 p.m. Thursday (February 14, 2008) in the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Born August 3, 1925 in Beverly, Vivian was the daughter of Everett and Mildred Cobb Bowman. She married Johnnie "Walt" Meyers on January 19, 1945 in Palmyra, MO. He died June 26, 1987.
Vivian volunteered for various activities at the Lampe Hi Rise and enjoyed doing puzzles and loved all animals.
She and her husband owned and operated K & M Auto Body Rebuilders until his death in 1987.
Survivors include a son Gene Meyers and his wife Patricia of Quincy; a Godson Jack Kaelber and Elaine of St. Charles, MO; three grandchildren Ronnie Meyers and his wife Lisa of Payson, Tina Woodworth and her husband Alan of Fowler and Johnnie Meyers and his wife Angie of Quincy; six great grandchildren Ryan Meyers and Cobi Meyers of Payson, Allison Woodworth of Fowler, Ashley and Alex Meyers, and Adam Coats all of Jacksonville, IL; a nephew Bob McCarthy and his wife Mary of Des Moines, IA; and a niece Ann Hardin and her husband Donnie of Quincy.
Mrs. Meyers was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Graveside services will be held Monday morning at 11:00 at Greenmount Cemetery by the Rev. George Tomko.
Visitation will be held Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:45 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.
