WANDA LEE ALLENSWORTH

Mrs. Wanda Lee Allensworth, 77, of the Sycamore Health Care Center, formerly of 712 Payson Ave., Quincy, died at 9:45 p.m. Sunday (December 13, 2009) in Blessing Hospital.

Born November 25, 1932 in Moberly, Missouri, Wanda was the daughter of Harvey H. and Nannie Gola Hudson.

A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Wanda cherished the time she spent with her family.

Survivors inclue two sons, Ricky Hudson and his wife Patty of Hannibal, MO and David Allensworth and his wife Shirley of Kewanee, IL; eleven grandchildren, Shane Hudson, Chastity Myers and her husband Chase, Damon Hudson, Jessica Dunivin, Amber Hudson, Jason Allensworth, Michael Allensworth, Paul Allensworth, Josh Allensworth, Patricia Allensworth and Callie Allensworth; a step grandson, Nathan Ham; many loving great grandchildren; a brother, Richard Hudson of Alton, IL; a sister, Lola Hiland of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Allensworth was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Edna Sears, Mary Lucile Smith and Thelma Faye Hudson; and three brothers, Leroy Hudson, Johnny Hudson and a brother in infancy.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. George Tomko. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday morning from 9:00 until the time of services at the funeral home.
