Mr. William E. King, 89, of the Illinois Veterans Home, died at 3:30 a.m. Monday (August 6, 2007) in Blessing Hospital.
Born March 16, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois, Mr. King was the son of William and Mabel Taylor King.
Mr. King served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was the last of his family.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held Wednesday morning at 9:00 in Sunset Cemetery by the Rev. John Adams.
There is no visitation, but friends are invited to the services.
The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
