WILMA J. HARRIS

Mrs. Wilma J. Harris, 72, of Sycamore Health Care Centre, formerly of 401 Cherry Apt. 1, died at 11:00 a.m. Thursday (June 15, 2006) in the home.

Born October 27, 1933 in Lewis County, Missouri, Wilma was the daughter of Horace Russell and Nellie Downs Lay. She first married Bobby Wright and later married Robert Harris Sr.

Wilma loved plants, gardening and collecting roosters. She was a people person whos' door was always open to everyone. Wilma was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister who cherished the time she spent with her family.

Surviving are three sons, Stephen Wright and Kathy Ray of Quincy, Mark Wright and his wife Lynn of Manchester, MO. and Robbie Harris and his wife Julie of Orlando, FL.; four daughters, Debbie Bradley, Susan Simpson and her husband Milo, Linda Bence and her husband David Sr. and Lynndette Wright, all of Quincy; 21 grandchildren, Jennifer and Stephanie Jones, Renee, Ashley, Nick and John Wright, Reshay Wright, Diamond Jade and David Bence Jr., Richie and Steven Wright, Shena Ray, Brandon and Tiffany Wright, Roxie, Ian, Collin and Evan Wright and Robin, Shaun and Tyler Harris; nineteen great grandchildren; five brothers, Benny Lay and his wife Norma, Ronnie Lay and his wife Shirley, Terry Lay and his wife Diane, Richard "Skip" Lay and his wife Linda, all of Lewistown, MO. and Larry Lay and his wife Cheryl of Plainville; two sisters, Kay Webster and her husband Chuck and Joan Spurgeon, both of Canton, MO.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Rev. George Tomko. Burial will be in Lewistown Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Monday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 and Tuesday morning until the time of services at the funeral home
