RAYMOND C. WITHERS

Mr. Raymond C. Withers, 90, of 217 Stadium Drive, died at 5:50 a.m. Thursday (October 20, 2005) in Blessing Hospital.

Born December 15, 1914 in Maywood, Missouri, Raymond was the son of John F. and Zella Gosney Withers. He married Betty Schiver on December 28, 1949 in Philadelphia, Missouri. She survives.

Raymond was employed at Home Service Store at 9th & State for many years until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Betty; a daughter, Darla Oitker and her husband Randy of Liberty; and two grandchildren, Randy and Tiffany Oitker.

Mr. Withers was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Mary Ellen Wright and a sister in infancy.

Graveside services will be Monday afternoon at 1:30 in the Durham, Missouri Cemetery by the Rev. George Tomko.

Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Raymond Withers Memorial Fund.
