Miss Frances L. Ackerman, 91, of 1638 South 24th, died at 10:05 a.m. Thursday (October 9, 2003) in the North Adams Home in Mendon. Born September 23, 1912 in Quincy, Frances was the daughter of John W. and Marion Grover Ackerman. Frances was a member of Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ and Eastern Star. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her friends. Frances was employed at Central Pattern for 31 years, retiring as an office manager. Surviving are her friends, Brian and Linda Alexander, Brenda Berter, Cindy Windland and Kevin and Jeanine Yancey all of Quincy. Miss Ackerman was preceded in death by her parents; and a dear friend, Alberta F. Lauder. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home the Rev. Wanda Seydel. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday morning from 9:00 until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Salem Church. |
