| Mrs. Mildred Allensworth, 72, of 509 Adams, died at 7:40 p.m. Saturday (May 5, 2001) in Blessing Hospital. Born January 16, 1929 in Fall Creek, Township, Mrs. Allensworth was the daughter of Rolla Raymond and Paulina Mae Kinder Goings. She married Kenneth R. Allensworth on July 28, 1982 in Rock Island, IL. He died October 10, 1995. Mrs. Allensworth owned and operated taverns in Quincy for many years. Surviving is a brother, James Goings and his wife Rosie of Shelbyville, MO.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Allensworth was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers; and three sisters. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. George Tomko. Burial will be in Bethany Baptist Cemetery near Philadelphia, MO. Visitation will be Wednesday Morning from 9:00 until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice. |
