Mr. Gary Floyd Aucutt, 47, of 631 Ohnemus Road, died at 10:35 a.m Monday (March 3, 2003) in his home. Born March 2, 1956 in Quincy, Gary was the son of Floyd and Geneva Hatfield Aucutt. He married Evelyn Middaugh on October 20, 1983 in Canton, Missouri. She survives. Gary was a member of Lambert Masonic Lodge No. 659. He graduated with honors from Highland High School and Quincy Technical School. He continued his education at John Wood Community College. Gary enjoyed re-enacting Civil War Battles and painting and he loved the Lord and gave his life to Jesus Christ. Also surviving is his mother, Geneva Aucutt of Quincy; a daughter, Misty Dawn Aucutt of Quincy; a step-daughter, Martha Moore and her husband Chris of Quincy; two Uncles; one Aunt; several cousins; and many loving friends and family including, David Smith, Matt Beebe, Kris Gipson, Kevin Gipson, Stan Sharp, Hollis Coulter and Barb Plank. Gary was especially looking forward to the birth of his Grandson, Benjamin Lance Aucutt this June. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Floyd; and several Aunts and Uncles. Graveside services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 in Greenmount Cemetery by Mr. Marvin Cook. Visitation will be Thursday afternoon from 12:00 until 1:45 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital. |
