| Mr. Joseph Todd Beckman, 38, of Mendon, died at 10:16 a.m. Friday (November 16, 2001) in his home. Born March 15, 1963 in Quincy, Todd was the son of Edward J. and Dorothy "Dottie" Doyle Beckman. He married Cheryl Brown on May 25, 2001 in Quincy. She survives. Todd was a graduate of Quincy Technical School in automobile mechanics. He was a member of Twin Oaks Club and the National Rifle Association and he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He had been employed at Knapheide Manufacturing as a welder. Surviving is his mother, Dorothy Beckman of Quincy; a daughter, Tiffiny Beckman of Fowler; a son, Jason Beckman of Mendon; two step children, Jonathan Brown and Courtney Brown both of Mendon; a niece, Jessica Bennett and her husband Tom of Payson; a nephew, Michael Jay Beckman of Bradenton, FL.; and several step nieces and nephews. Todd was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Jay Beckman. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Quincy by the Rev. Ronald Graham. Private family inurnment will be in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Jason Beckman Educational Fund. |
