| Mrs. Ruby Bentley, 84 of 3712 Queen Anne Ave., died at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday (February 26, 2002) in Blessing Hospital. Born May 15, 1917 in Novenger, MO., Ruby was the daughter of Harry and Mary Warwick Armoville. She married Derrald D. Bentley on November 23, 1936 in Carthage, IL. He survives. Ruby was a member of Central Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts, cooking and sewing, and cherished the time she spent with her family. Ruby and Derrald loved to camp and fish spending many years at Pine Lakes Resort in Pittsfield. Also surviving are two daughters, Macia Holler and her husband Gene and Mary Beth Vercimak both of Quincy; three grandchildren, Jeff Holler, Julie Beebe and her husband Mike, and Rebecca Robertson all of Quincy; four great grandchildren, Jason Holler, Austin Beebe, Amber Beebe and Courtney Robertson all of Quincy. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Thelma Berry and Elsie Cullop. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Charles Baker. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Friday until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church. |
