VELMA I. BORNMAN
 

Mrs. Velma Ida Hannah Bornman, 91, of Sunset Home, died at 10:35 p.m.
Tuesday (May 25, 2004) at Blessing Hospital.

Born May 30, 1912 in Quincy, Velma was the daughter of J. Arthur and
Hannah Holtman Worttmann. She married Lawrence T. "Pie" Bornman on June 16,
1937 in Salem Church in Quincy. He preceded her in death.

Velma was a member of Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ and
Alpha Chapter 109 Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include a son, Ted Bornman and his wife Doris of Battle
Creek, MI.; a granddaughter, Jessica Bolton, her husband Todd and a great
gransson, Remington Bolton of Bowen, IL.; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bornman was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two
sisters, Gladys Boden and Irma Green.

Graveside services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 in Greenmount
Cemetery by the Rev. Stephen Schuette.

Visitation will be Saturday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 at the Zehender
Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home. Alpha Chapter 109 O. E. S. will
conduct services Saturday at 10:00 in the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Velma Bornman Memorial Fund.
