Mrs. Sandra K. Boyd, 60, of 1429 Ohio, died at 9:39 a.m. Wednesday (June 4, 2003) in the Blessing Hospital. Born February 6, 1943 in Quincy, Sandra was the daughter of Julius and Virginia Wear Blivens. She married Stephen Boyd on August 22, 1974 in Quincy. He survives. Sandra was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was taking care of her family. Also surviving is a daughter, Deborah Russell of Quincy; two sons, Gregory Russell and his wife Jennifer and Eric Boyd all of Quincy; 14 grandchildren, Cassie Epperson, Ashley Epperson, Jacob Lovelace, Josh Lovelace, Shianna Reddick, Shanna Russell, Blake Russell, Jett Russell, Dustin Russell, Austin Russell, Jacob Shumm, and Stephanie Russell all of Quincy, Alex Whitehead of LaBelle, MO. and Amanda Russell of Missouri; a daughter in law, Sonya Russell of Quincy; and a sister, Karen Farrell and her husband Larry of Golden. Mrs. Boyd was preceded in death by her parents; her step father, Robert Stone; and a son, Robert Russell. Private family services will be held Friday.
