Mrs. Deloris Virginia Robinson Braymen, 80, of Sunset Home, formerly of 2502 Oak, died at 3:25 p.m. Friday (January 10, 2003) in Sunset Home. Born November 9, 1922 in Pike County, Illinois, Deloris was the daughter of Amos Winfield and Helen Ester Cooper Robinson. She married Wade L. Braymen on September 3, 1947 in Pittsfield, Illinois. He survives. Deloris was a member of Madison Park Christian Church, Bayview Knitting Guild, Quinsippi Needleworkers Guild and the Adams County Homemakers. She enjoyed knitting and needlework and was a devoted mother and grandmother. Deloris was employed at Meyers Needlecraft Shop for many years. Also surviving are two sons, Gary Braymen and his wife Marsha of Garland, TX. and Steve Braymen and his wife Pat of Quincy; two daughters, Wanda Russell and Donna Hilgenbrink and her husband Robert of Shiloh, IL.; seven grandchildren, Laura Bruzan of Phoenix, AZ., Suzanne Griep of Shiloh, IL., Erica Brammer of Ft. Worth, TX., Tandy Braymen of Dallas, TX., Adam Braymen of Quincy, and Jacob Russell and Ginger Russell; five great grandchildren; a brother, Donald Robinson of Eureka Springs, AR.; a sister, Eileen Syrcle of Pittsfield, IL. and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Braymen was preceded in death by her parents; and a grandson, Jeremy Russell. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Keith Ehresman. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 and Tuesday until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Madison Park Christian Church. |
