Mrs. Norma L. Breuer, 74, of 1324 S. 19th, died at 10:30 a.m. Friday (February 21, 2003) in her home. Born November 8, 1928 in Augusta, Norma was the daughter of Lemuel G. and Nina R. Steed DeGroot. She married Emery Breuer on April 2, 1955 in Luther Memorial Church in Quincy. He survives. Mrs. Breuer was a graduate of Augusta High School. She enjoyed embroidering. Also surviving is a daughter, Jeannie M. Herr and her husband Douglas of Battle Ground, IN; three sisters, Betty Hawe of Loraine, Carolyn Higgins and her husband Donald of LaPrairie, and Donna Johnston and her husband Gilmer of Maywood, MO; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Edward DeGroot; and one sister, Lucille Goudschaal. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Rev. Leland Uden. Entombment will be in Quincy Memorial Park Mausoleum Visitation will be held Monday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 and Tuesday morning until the time of services at the funeral home.
