| Miss Ruth Breuer, 78, of 2913 Broadway, died at 7:30 a.m. Saturday (April 13, 2002) in Blessing Hospital. Born January 15, 1924 in Quincy, Ruth was the daughter of Fredrick H. and Mabel Ewing Breuer. Ruth was a member of Luther Memorial Church and was a 1942 graduate of Quincy High School. She enjoyed bowling and was employed at Motorola and Montgomery - Ward for several years until her retirement. Surviving are two brothers, Emery Breuer and his wife Norma, and Donald Breuer and his wife Lorene, both of Quincy; two sisters, Florence Koetters and her husband Ralph of Quincy; and Helen Tournear and her husband Roy of Beaumont, TX; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Harold Breuer; and one sister, Dorothy Kaufmann. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Lee Uden. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Tuesday afternoon from 12:00 until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Luther Memorial Church or to the charity of the donor's choice. |
