Mrs. Grace E. Brown, 96, of Divide, CO., died at 8:30 p.m. Friday (February 6, 2004) in Colorado Springs, CO. Born November 6, 1907 in Melrose Township Grace was the daughter of Edward H. and Emma Bock Wolf. She married Carson C. Brown on June 25, 1932 in Payson. He died October 30, 1993. Grace was a member of Little Chapel of the Hills in Divide, CO. She was a Sunday School teacher, a 4-H leader, and was a Red Cross volunteer. Surviving is a daughter, Betty Turner and her husband Orice of Divide, CO.; one son Carson Brown Jr. and his wife Sandra of Clayton; six grandchildren, Maria Bolduc and her husband Dennis of Fountain, CO., Rosemary Smith & her husband Norris of Sterling, KS., Jennifer Ricke and her husband Kelly of Divide, CO., Terri Leach and her husband Dale of Virginia Beach, VA., Kimberly Bryant and her husband Clyde of Payson, and Lisa Brown of Kearney, NE.; ten great grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Schreacke of Payson, and Edna Loos of Liberty. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one grandson, Charles L. Turner. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:00 at the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Payson by Pastor Larry Matson. Burial will be in Bluff Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 3:00 until 6:00 at the funeral home in Payson. Memorials may be made to the Bluff Hall Cemetery. |
