| Mr. Orville Cleesen, 73, of 1818 North 6th, died at 2:35 a.m. Sunday (January 13, 2002) in his home. Born September 12, 1928 , Mr. Cleesen was the son of Fred and Hester Davis Cleesen. He married E. Maxine Miller on July 18, 1946 in Quincy. She survives. Mr. Cleesen owned and operated Cleesen Steel Company in Quincy for many years. Also surviving is a son, Mike Cleesen and his fiance' Shari Donhardt of Quincy; a daughter, Karen Mittelberg and her husband Daniel of Ewing, MO.; 7 grandchildren, Joshua, Ryan and Nathan Mittelberg and Stacey, Angela, Troy and Steve Cleesen; and a sister, Chris Potts and her husband Warren of Quincy. Mr. Cleesen was preceded in death by his parents; and a granddaughter, Carrie Cleesen. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday morning from 9:00 until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice. |
