| Mrs. Helen Cleveland, 88, of 2830 College, died at 10:55 a.m. Monday (September 10, 2001) in Blessing Hospital. Born April 2, 1913 in Quincy, Helen was the daughter of Edward and Alpha Spoonmore Kelley. She married William C. Cleveland on September 3, 1931 in Quincy. He died on June 29, 1984. Helen was a member of the Lutheran Church of St. John. She was employed by Pearsons, which later became Ely Walker and then for Motorola as an assembler until her retirement. Surviving is a sister, Esther Lunsford of Bridgeton, MO.; two sisters in law, Marilyn Kelley and Kathleen Kelley both of Quincy; two nieces, Linda Rose and Peggy Gipson; two nephews, Kent Kelley and Mark Lunsford; and several great nieces and great nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Howard, Stanley and Bryson Kelley. Graveside services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 in Quincy Memorial Park by the Rev. Harold Bender. Visitation will be Friday from 12:30 until 1:15 p.m. in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Church of St. John. |
