James David "J. D." Cole, the infant son of Kevin and Mindy (Salisbury) Cole of 1037 Madonna Drive, died Sunday (October 5, 2003) in St. Louis Children's Hospital. J. D. was born September 26, 2003 in Blessing Hospital in Quincy. J. D. is survived by his parents; paternal grandparents, Steve and Sharon Cole of Quincy; maternal grandfather, Cedric Salisbury and his wife Cheri of Greensboro, GA.; maternal grandmother, Jacquie Murphy and her husband Mike of Moline, IL.; paternal great grandfather, Lawrence Vahlkamp of Quincy; maternal great grandmother, Ardelle Swanson of Phoenix, AZ.; two uncles, James Russell Salisbury of Phoenix, AZ. and David Cole and his wife Peri of Quincy; two aunts, Julie Hilbing and her husband Craig of Quincy and Lori Spangler and her husband Todd of Apopka, FL.; and six cousins, Kayleigh and Weston Spangler of Apopka, FL., Cole, Chloe and Lydia Hilbing and Neilly Cole all of Quincy. J. D. was preceded in death by great grandparents. A life celebration service will be held Thursday evening at 6:30 in Madison Park Christian Church by Pastor Keith Ehresman. The family will meet with friends following the services at Madison Park Christian Church. Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
