Mrs. Judy A. Collins, 54, of Moreno Valley, California, died at 11:38 p.m. Sunday (January 11, 2004) in her home after a lengthy struggle with cancer. Born December 17, 1949 in Chicago, IL., Judy was the daughter of William and Betty Miller Styler Jr. In her formative years Judy attended the First Congregational Church of Crystal Lake, IL. where she was baptized and confirmed. She attended California State University where she earned her degree in Corporate Computer Networking. Judy was an independent thinker who loved animals, camping, and Nascar racing. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and sister. Mrs. Collins was employed as a Business Analyst for Kaiser Permenante Hospitals. Surviving are two sons, Scott Anderson of Belle Plain, MN., and Timothy Anderson of Moreno Valley, CA.; her parents, William and Betty Styler Jr. of Plainville; a sister, Susan Lee Styler of Fullerton, CA.; a niece, Lauren Styler and a nephew, Ryan Styler, both of Boulder, CO. She was preceded in death by her brother, William A. Styler III, who passed away April 7, 1993. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 at the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Payson by Rev. Rick Welch. Burial will be in the Kinderhook Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 and Tuesday morning until the time of services at the funeral home in Payson. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society for Breast/Ovarian Cancer Research. |
