Mrs. Iola R. Cooper, 71, of Hull, died at 1:45 p.m. Monday (March 31, 2003) in Montibello Manor Nursing Home in Hamilton, IL.

Born April 4, 1931 in Quincy, Iola was the daughter of Alexander Clarence and Bessie E. Fuller Cooper.

Iola was a member of Payson United Methodist Church. She enjoyed riding horses and watching television.

Surviving is a brother, Vernon Cooper and his wife Letha of Plainville; three sisters, Catherine Hankins and her husband Jim of Barry, Pansy Brewer of Ozark, MO., and Bertha Jarvill of Mendon; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Virgil, Austin, Elmer, Arthur, and Ralph Cooper; and three sisters, Emma Snow, Annamae Kurtz, and Edith Cooper in infancy.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 11:00 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Payson by Rev. Ron Cox. Burial will be in Payson Old Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday morning from 9:30 until the time of services at the funeral home in Payson.

Memorials may be made to the Payson United Methodist Church or to the Montibello Manor Nursing Home in Hamilton, IL.
