Mrs. Juliana Cooper, 90, of Good Samaritan Home, formerly of 821 Ohio, died at 6:38 p.m. Thursday (January 16, 2003) in Blessing Hospital.

Born December 10, 1912 in Quincy, Juliana was the daughter of Arthur H. and Amelia Peters Heideman. She married Donald A. Cooper on June 23, 1933 in Quincy. He died April 23, 1989.

Mrs. Cooper was a member of Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ and the Salem Evening Guild. She was a 1930 graduate of Quincy High School.

Surviving is a daughter, Donna Huffman and her husband William of Palmyra, MO., two grandchildren, Rebecca Schmidt of Palmyra, MO., and Jean McBride and her husband James of Hannibal, MO., three great-grandchildren, Katrina Houser of Hannibal, MO., and Jennifer Gordanier and Josie Webb, both of Palmyra, MO., five great-great grandchildren, Bryce, Kalli, and Lexie Gordanier, all of Palmyra, MO., Masen Egbert of Palmyra, and Deirdre Houser of Hannibal, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother, Arthur W. Heideman.

Graveside services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:00 in Greenmount Cemetery by Rev. Wanda Seydel.

Visitation will be held Monday afternoon from 1:00 until 1:45 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Quincy Humane Society or to Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ Heritage Fund.
