Mr. Donald Lee Dasch Jr., 40, of 930 N. 5th, died at 6:15 p.m. Monday (August 26, 2002) in his home. Born August 20, 1962 in St. Louis, MO., Donald was the son of Donald L. and Edna M. Bright Dasch Sr. He married Marylee Mason on August 3, 1997 in Quincy. She survives. Donald was a member of the New Life Christian Church. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his pets and his grand kids. He was a caring husband and loving grandfather and will be missed by all those who loved him. Mr. Dasch had obtained his paralegal degree and had been employed at Quincy Soybean and Surf Brothers in Hannibal. Also surviving is his mother, Edna Dasch of Quincy; one stepdaughter, Rolanda Aden of Quincy; two stepsons, Richard L. Hood Jr. of Menard, IL., and William Joseph Jones of Quincy; three step grandchildren Marcus Williams, Heaven Lee Aden, and Destiny Love Aden, all of Quincy; two nieces, Melissa Hurst and Amber Cole, both of Quincy; two nephews, Bobby and Jeffrey Hurst, Both of Quincy; two brothers, R. Scott Dasch and his wife Norma of Quincy, and Kevin Dasch and his wife Becky of Quincy; and one sister, Sherry Jo Hurst and her husband David of Quincy; and three nephews, Kevin Dasch, Maverick Dasch and Shawn McCleery all of Quincy. He was preceded in death by his father; one stepdaughter, Carla Hood Williams; and two infant grandchildren, Jessica J.D. Williams and Charles Carl Williams. Graveside services will be held Thursday morning at 11:00 in Greenmount Cemetery by Rev. Greg Fulmer. Visitation will be held Thursday morning from 9:00 until 10:45 at Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Donald L. Dasch Memorial Fund. |
