| David E. Drew, 53, of 1516 Center Granview, died at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday (January 30, 2001) in Cancun, Mexico. Born January 25, 1948 in Galesburg, IL., Mr. Drew was the son of Harold Elbert and E. Luella Faulkner Evans Drew. He married Carol Ann Boltz on February 17, 1984 in Quincy. She survives. Dave was an avid sky diver enthusiast, a member of the U.S. Parachustist Association and the Parachutist over 40 club. He enjoyed fishing, reading, being with friends and family and helping other people. He was employed at Harris Corporation for 19 years and had most recently been in quality control. Also surviving is his mother, Luella Evans of El Paso, TX.; one daughter, Melissa Drew of Quincy; one son, Kyle Drew of Springfield; one step daughter, Michelle Heck of Quincy; one step son, Larry Bryan Heck and his wife Jennifer of Quincy; seven step grandchildren, Amber Heck, Jackson Bates, Dylan Bates, Philip Fulmer, Josh Fulmer, Christopher Heck, and Kolin Heck, all of Quincy; and one brother, Harold Drew Jr. and his wife Carol of El Paso, TX. Mr. Drew was preceded in death by father, and a sister in infancy. Funeral Services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 at the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Selves officiating. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 4:00 until 8:00 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the World Free Fall Convention. |
