| Mr. Frank Dutt, 90, of 429 Timber Ridge, died at 8:00 a.m. Friday (April 20, 2001) in his home. Born November 25, 1910 in Warren, RI., Frank was the son of Joseph and Teophilia Kozuboska Dudek. Although that is the family name in Poland, his father on coming to the United States changed it to Dutkiewicz. Frank later shortened it to Dutt. He married Betty Wienhoff. He married Juanita Lee Bigham on August 14, 1984 in Quincy. She survives. Mr. Dutt was a graduate of Lane Tech High School and the Art Institute of Chicago. He served in the U. S. Army during WW II in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre and was awarded a Purple Heart. Mr. Dutt was employed as a commercial artist for Rich and Rush Studios since 1936. Frank also sculped the Butter Cows, which appeared at the IL., MI., MO., WI., and IA. state fairs for many years. Also surviving is a daughter, Margot C. Mills and her husband Jerry of Mesa, AZ.; a son, Henry "Hank" Allan Dutt of San Francisco, CA.; three step daughters, Mary Ann Amador of Waukegan, IL., Wanda Bundy of Quincy and Elizabeth Amador of Puerto Rico; and three step sons, Francisco Amador and his wife Cecilia of Kenosha, WI., David Amador of San Antonio, TX. and Jose' Amador of Orlando, FL.; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. Mr. Dutt was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be held Friday morning at 11:00 in the Quincy Memorial Park Mausoleum by the Rev. John Kennedy. Military honors will be coducted by the Quincy American Legion Post #37. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the Blessing Foundation for Hospice. |
