Mr. Ralph Eisenberg, 86, of the Illinois Veterans Home, formerly of Payson, died at 10:25 a.m. Saturday (April 19, 2003) in the Veterans Home. Born August 21, 1916 in Fall Creek Township, Ralph was the son of Louis and Carrie Westenfeld Eisenberg. He married Hazel F. Bradley on October 14, 1941 in Palmyra, Missouri. She died July 30, 2001. Ralph served his country in the U. S. Navy during WW II. He was a driver for Mobil Oil Company and farmed in the Liberty and Richfield area. He retired in 1981. Surviving are two sisters, Irene Keil and her husband Gibb of Beardstown, IL. and Hazel Livermore of Glenview, IL.; a sister in law, Lorna Bradley of Quincy; a brother in law, Harold Hoskins of Quincy; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Payson. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery near Plainville. Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 Noon until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Shiloh Cemetery Association. |
