| Mr. Robert R. Ellery, 86, of 317 Cedar, died at 9:14 p.m. Wednesday (October 30, 2002) in Blessing Hospital. Born November 11, 1915 in LaGrange, Missouri, Mr. Ellery was the son of Dr. William and Alice Reed Ellery. He married Virginia May Oenning on November 11, 1934 in LaGrange. She survives. Mr. Ellery built and operated the Drive In Theaters in Quincy and West Quincy and later owned and operated Quincy Auto Salvage in Quincy and Pittsfield until his retirement. Also surviving is a son, Robert L. Ellery of Quincy; a grandson, Greg Ellery of Los Angeles, CA.; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Ellery was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, John Douglas Ellery; two brothers, William and James Ellery; and two sisters, Florence Needham and Alice Eaton. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. George Tomko. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. |
