| Mrs. Barbara A. Faler, 69, of 2514 College, went home to
be with the Lord at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday (July 10, 2002) in the Sycamore
Health Care Center.
Born May 9, 1933 in Quincy, Barbara was the daughter of Harry and Katherine Keltz Nober. She married Melvin Faler on August 16, 1962 in Quincy. He survives. Barbara worked at S. S. Kresge's and later stayed home to raise her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Also surviving are two daughters, Cheryl Lane and her husband Patrick of Quincy and Cathy Crim and her husband Warren of Hannibal; seven grandchildren, Derek Faler, Warren Crim, Caitlyn Crim and Holly Crim all of Hannibal and Lauren Garner, Kourtney Lane and Madison Lane all of Quincy; and her mother in law, Wilma Faler of Quincy. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Dale Vahle and Vernon Vahle. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Brian Stone. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 and Saturday morning until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Grandchildren's Educational Fund or the Lupus Foundation. |
