| Mrs. Ruth Fries, 86, of the Sycamore Health Care Center, formerly of 632 York, died at 3:15 a.m. Sunday (October
21, 2001) in Sycamore Health Care Center. Born September 12, 1915 in Quincy, Ruth was the daughter of Willis R. and Theresa Voshake Young. She married George Fries in New London, MO. He died in 1970. Surviving is a son, Melvin Fries of Beardstown; and a sister, Dolores Cookson of Quincy. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Russell Young; and a sister, Lucille Hall. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. George Tomko. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday morning from 10:00 until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Sycamore Health Care Center. |
