| Mrs. Patricia A.Geisendorfer, 66, of the Timber Point Nursing Home in Camp Point, formerly of 1920 Adams, died
at 7:40 p.m. Saturday (April 21, 2001) in the home. Born May 11, 1934 in Quincy, Pat was the daughter of Earl Henry and Lucille Brunner Moritz. She married Jeff Geisendorfer on September 30, 1960 in Quincy. He died August 6, 1985. Pat was a 1952 graduate of Quincy High School. In her early years she was employed as a telephone operator for Illinois Bell Telephone. She later worked as a receptionist for the Quincy Herald Whig and HLS Clinic. She retired from J. M. Winters & Son Insurance Agency. Surviving is a son, Joe Geisendorfer of Castle Rock, CO.; a brother, Richard Moritz and his wife Pat of Quincy; a sister in law, Betty Moritz of Quincy; two nephews, Randy Moritz of Lizella, GA. and Gary Moritz and his wife Jill of Aurora, CO.; and a great nephew, Ryan Moritz of Aurora, CO. Pat was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Gary L. Moritz. Graveside services will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 in Greenmount Cemetery by the Rev. Harold Bender. There will be no visitation, but friends are invited to the services. Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Quincy Humane Society. |
