Mrs. Betty Lou Gentry, 66, of Encino, California, formerly of the Quincy and Liberty area, died at 11:00 a.m. Friday (August 8, 2003) in the Windsor Health Care Center in Van Nuys, California. Born July 19, 1937 in Quincy, Betty was the daughter of Fred and Gertrude Deane Arnold. Betty was employed as a comptroller for the Hollywood Rolls Royce dealership for many years. She later was a comptroller for IFR Avionics in Encino for 10 years until her retirement. Surviving is her sister, Dr. Josephine Arnold of Seminole, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; twin sons, Lance Dean and Vance Gene Arp; and two sisters, Virginia Schramm and Doris Jean Roach. Graveside services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 in the Pleasant View Cemetery near Liberty. There will be no visitation, but friends are invited to the services. Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. |
