Mr. Kenny E. Gibleon, 49, of 1826 Hazelwood Ct., died at 3:32 p.m. Saturday (March 30, 2002) in Blessing Hospital. Born February 12, 1953 in Quincy, Kenny was the son of George and Ruby Vollbracht Gibleon. He married Patricia L. "Patty" Penrose on September 16, 1977 in Quincy. She survives. Kenny was a 1971 graduate of Quincy High School and a past member of Demolay. He enjoyed fishing, boating, landscaping, and small engine repair. He was the owner of Lawn Care Plus for 9 years and for the last 3 years was employed as a maintenance supervisor at Lampe Hi-Rise. Also surviving are; two daughters, Lorri Kanauss and her husband Alan of Quincy, and Jamie Weyant and her husband Robert of Monmouth, IL.; one granddaughter, Lorral Kanauss of Quincy; his parents, George and Ruby Gibleon of Quincy; three brothers, Larry Gibleon and his wife Jackie, Elmer Gibleon and his wife Linda, and Glenn Gibleon and his wife Ann, all of Quincy; one sister, Linda Meyers and her husband Terry of Quincy; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents, Henry and Minnie Vollbracht. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Scott Snider. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 and Wednesday morning until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Lampe Hi-Rise Association. |
