Mrs. Margaret Gordanier, 72, of Sycamore Health Care Center, formerly of Jim's Mobile Home Park in Canton, MO., died at 1:30 p.m. Saturday (January 25, 2003) in Sycamore Health Care Center. Born March 6, 1930 in Quincy, Margaret was the daughter of Lester and Edna Ostrander Claus. She married Dennis Gordanier on October 21, 1970, in Quincy. He died April 1, 1989. Margaret was employed as a nurses aid in Quincy for many years retiring in 1985. Surviving is a daughter, Sharon Young and her husband Thomas of Quincy; two sons, Ron L. Dillinger of Quincy, and Dennis E. Dillinger of Canton, MO.; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchild; one brother, William Claus of Payson; and one sister, Emma Sparks and her husband James of Ewing, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one sister, Virginia Bishop. Graveside services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 in Greenmount Cemetery by Rev. George Tomko. There is no visitation, but friends are invited to attend the graveside service. Memorials may be made to the Margaret Gordanier Memorial Fund.
