| Mr. Robert Graham, 76, of 1421 Ohio, died at 1:00 a.m Wednesday (October 17, 2001) in Memorial Medical Center in
Springfield, IL. Born July 12, 1925 in Marion County, Missouri, Mr. Graham was the son of Ellsworth and Mildred Boll Graham. Following his parents death, he was raised by his aunt and uncle, Harry and Edna Graham. He married Margie Mester on February 2, 1945 in Quincy. She died June 28, 2000. Mr. Graham served his country in the U. S. Navy during WW II. He was a life member of the North Side Boat Club and a member of the Quarter Century Club of Gardner Denver. He was employed at Gardner Denver / Cooper Industries for 42 years, retiring in 1988 as a Quality Control Inspector. Surviving is a son, Michael Graham and his wife Judy of Quincy; three grandchildren, Kelley Butler and her husband Ian, Andrea Graham and Eric Graham all of Quincy; a brother, Paul "Buck" Graham of Ewing, MO.; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Graham was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; three sisters, Dorothy Johnson, Betty Stoermer and Bonita Bowman; and two brothers, Bill Graham and Ray Graham. Memorial services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:00 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Roger Selves. Visitation will be Friday afternoon from 12:00 until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Heart Association |
