Mrs. Wilma L. Halle, 83, of Columbia, Missouri, formerly of Quincy, died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday (January 11, 2004) in the Lenoir Health Care Facility in Columbia, Missouri. Born October 4, 1920 in Quincy, Wilma was the daughter of Erhart C. and Lillian Henhoff Unglaub. She married Lowell C. Halle on July 14, 1945 in Victorville, California. He died February 23, 1992. Mrs. Halle was a member of Luther Memorial Church, The Alter Guild, The Round Table Study Club, The Antique Club, Good Samaritan Home Auxiliary and Grace Whipple Chapter 312 Order of Eastern Star. Wilma attended Quincy Public Schools and was a 1938 graduate of Quincy High School and a graduate of Gem City Business College. Surviving is a daughter, Barbara Mayer and her husband Michael of Columbia, MO.; a granddaughter, Denise Boyd of Columbia, MO.; and a great granddaughter, Kathryn Boyd of Columbia. Mrs. Halle was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Leland Uden. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 4:00 until 6:00 and Thursday until the time of services at the funeral home. Grace Whipple Chapter 312 Order of Eastern Star will conduct services Wednesday evening at 6:00 in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Luther Memorial Church. |
