HARRY G. HAMMERS

Mr. Harry G. Hammers, 70, of Quincy, died Monday (June 14, 2004) in

son of Harry G. and Ruth Hartman Hammers.

Mr. Hammers served his country four years in the U. S. Navy aboard air
craft carriers during the Korean War.

him, "they are the apple of my eye."

Harry was employed at Quincy Compressor for over 25 years and then as a
security guard for the Quincy Mall for 8 years. He retired in 1996 due to
ill health.

two grandsons, Zach and Luke Guthrie all of Quincy; and one sister.

Mr. Hammers was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and two
brothers.

At the request of Mr. Hammers, cremation rites will be accorded with
private family graveside services.

To honor the memory of the love and support Mr. Hammers showed his
grandsons with their golf activities, memorials may be made to Westview Golf
Course or the Westview Junior Scholarship Fund in care of Zehender Robinson
