Mr. Donald L. Harden, 86, of the Sycamore Health Care Center, formerly of 527 Broadway, died at 6:55 p.m. Friday (April 16, 2004) in the home. Born December 31, 1918 in LaSalle, Illinois, Donald was the son of Samuel and Millie Harmon Harden. Mr. Harden attended St. Boniface Catholic Church. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Cremation rites were accorded to Mr. Harden. Memorial graveside services will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 in Sunset Cemetery at the Illinois Veterans Home. There is no visitation, but friends are invited to the services. Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
