Mrs. Judith Ann Heck, 61, of 1616 N. 16th, died at 7:25 a.m. Sunday (June 30, 2002) in Tulsa, OK.

Born July 9, 1940, in Quincy, Judith was the daughter of Jason Thomas and Caroline W. Pfaffe Stice. She married Roy Heck on July 1, 1995 in Quincy. He survives.

Mrs. Heck was a member of Abundant Life Christian Fellowship Church. She was a 1958 graduate of Quincy High School and enjoyed making crafts, baking cakes, and planting flowers.

Judith was employed as a pharmacy technician at Walgreens, the Medicine Shoppe, and Hy-Vee for several years and was also employed at the Mini-Mart.

Also surviving is one son, Jeffrey T. Trenter and his wife Jill of Quincy; four daughters, Mary D. Wand of Quincy, Michelle Ripper and her husband David of Quincy, Pam Carter and her husband Bob of Tulsa, OK., and Melissa Spidel and her husband Jim of Ewing, MO.; two stepchildren, Jason Heck, and Lori Heck, both of Quincy; 19 grandchildren; two great grandsons; four brothers, Roger A. Stice and his wife Mary Lou, Michael J. Stice, John T. Stice and his wife Ellen, and Jason T. Stice Jr. and his wife Vicki, all of Quincy; and two sisters, Vicki Turnbaugh and her husband Roy, and Alice Langley and her husband Rollin, both of Quincy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one granddaughter, Hannah Ripper.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:00 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Fred Blacksmith. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 and Friday morning until the time of services at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Abundant Life Christian Fellowship Church or to the Judith Heck Memorial Fund.
