Marilyn R. Holtman, 67, of North Adams Home, formerly of 1003 S. 22nd, died at 8:00 a.m. Monday (September 1, 2003) in the home. Born February 11, 1936, in Quincy, Marilyn was the daughter of Albert J. and Mildred M. Brackensick Wilson. Marilyn was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and a graduate of Quincy Senior High School. She enjoyed oil painting and playing the piano. Marilyn was employed in the offices of Brower Manufacturing for over 20 years. Surviving is a daughter, Cheryl L. Holtman of Los Angles, CA.; a son, James H. Holtman and his wife Shelly of Quincy; two grandchildren, Jeremy D. Holtman and Joshua J. Holtman, both of Quincy; and an aunt, Ann Brackensick of Quincy. She was preceded in death by her parents and several aunts and uncles. Private family graveside services were held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 in Greenmount Cemetery by the Rev. Marlin Rempfer. Memorials may be made to St. James Lutheran Church or to the American Cancer Society. Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. |
