Mr. Richard Jenkins, 68, of 101 N. 4th St., died at 10:00 a.m. Saturday (April 24, 2004) in his home. Born April 22, 1936, in Mendon, Richard was the son of Henry Orville and Roberta Drummond Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins was employed as a barber for several years. Surviving are three daughters, Jeanie Dinkheller and Troy Yohn of Quincy, Carolyn Jenkins of Murfreesboro, TN., and Roberta Parry and her husband Dan of Anchorage, AK.; one son Troy Jenkins of Baton Rouge, LA.; 11 grandchildren, Angela Owens, Tamra Owens, and Kayla Dinkheller, all of Quincy, Kelly Sue Jenkins of Murfreesboro, TN., Michelle Ann Province of Syracuse, NY., Brandon Rye, Stephanna Kay Bush, and Jamie Bush, all of Bainbridge, GA., and Shelly Parry, Trisha Parry, and Jessica Parry, all of Anchorage, AL.; and three great grandchildren, Jordan Owens of Quincy,Hayden Ludin of Murfreesboro, TN., and Amanda Jenkins of Baton Rouge, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Patricia Bush; his twin brother, Robert Jenkins; and a sister, Sylvia Jenkins. Graveside services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 at Greenmount Cemetery by Pastor Bruce Willard. There is no visitation but friends are invited to attend the graveside service. Memorials may be made to the Richard Jenkins Memorials Fund. Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. |
