RAMON JURIS
 

Mr. Ramon Juris, 83, of the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy, formerly of Chicago, died at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday (December 17, 2003) in the Veterans Home.

Born February 29, 1920 in Chicago, Ramon was the son of Stanley and Sophie Juris. He married Sophie Kuksta on June 14, 1941 in Chicago. She died September 14, 2000.

Ramon was of the Catholic Faith. He owned and operated Tam's Dry Cleaner's in Chicago for many years. He retired in 1993.

Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Jasper and her husband Bill of Orland Park, IL.; a niece and two nephews.

Mr. Juris was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and a brother, Anton Juris.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 8:30 in the All Faiths Chapel at the Illinois Veterans Home by the Rev. Richard Jeske. Private entombment will be in St. Casimir Cemetery Mausoleum in Chicago.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the All Faiths Chapel at the Veterans Home.

Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Illinois Veterans Home Activity Fund.
